We are two fun-loving Southern girls who met in a Facebook book group.  We have a mutual love of books and sarcasm.  We wanted to start up a book review blog to give honest reviews, introduce readers to different authors, and chat about books!  We particularly enjoy contemporary romance, erotica, and new adult books.


Hey Folks!
This is your Ragin' Cajun, Mindy!  I am 31 years old, have two boys, and have been married for almost ten years.  When I'm not busy doing the "family thing", I love to read!  My favorite books to read make me laugh, cry, and even get crazy mad!  If it has insane sex...even better!  I want to feel like I have taken a journey and experienced what the characters have lived through.  I don't like to be bored half to death.  You may agree or disagree on some of our book selection reviews and that's okay!  There's no reason to get upset and bow up like a Halloween cat. This is what makes reading so much fun, right?!

I'm 35 years young, a mom to two boys, and a wifey to my hubbs for nearly thirteen years.  I love diving into a good book and being transported to places I never thought I'd have the opportunity to experience.  Reading is my therapy, and hey who couldn't use a little of that??  The best reads for me are those that totally grip me and make me feel crazy emotions, and yes that sometimes means the raunchiest of the raunchy sex!! I'm sure you're not going to agree with all of our recommendations or comments about books, but to me that is what makes reading so enjoyable.  So sit back and prop your spurs up and stay awhile!!!
